Hightouch is seeking a Product Security Engineer to own the application's security posture end-to-end. This is the first dedicated security hire, operating in a hands-on, high-autonomy role and working across a distributed, growth-focused engineering team.

You'll tackle multi-tenant isolation, threat modeling, and the security architecture of internet-facing APIs in a multi-region, multi-cloud environment. The role emphasizes impact and the ability to shape security as the company scales.

Competenze

• Being an early security hire (first 1-3) at a SaaS or data infrastructure company.
• Securing multi-tenant platforms: tenant isolation, authorization models, etc.
• Cloud security on systems that span more than one cloud and operate against customer-owned accounts.
• Design and build of data infrastructure as an early engineer, not just a user.
• Privacy-adjacent security (PII handling, data residency, GDPR/CCPA technical controls).

Mansioni

• Own security architecture and threat modeling for the system.
• Improve rate limiting, abuse detection, and granularity of access control for internet-facing APIs.
• Support multi-region and multi-cloud backend, including data residency requirements.
• Lead security work with product teams and define high-leverage improvements.
