Job summary

Foundr, LLC, a Series A AI company, is seeking the first dedicated security hire to own the function end-to-end as we scale. You will lead security strategy across product, infrastructure, and AI systems, balancing risk with rapid growth.

You will design secure cloud architectures (AWS/GCP), perform threat modeling and secure SDLC, implement logging/monitoring, and engage with enterprise customers on security and trust as we expand go-to-market.

Qualifications

• Security leadership experience at a high-growth startup or modern tech company
• Deep cloud (AWS/GCP) and application/infrastructure security expertise
• Hands-on IC who can own strategy in a 0-1 environment
• Credible with engineers and non-technical stakeholders alike
• Bonus: secured AI/ML systems, SOC 2 or ISO 27001 exposure

Responsibilities

• Define security strategy and roadmap across applications, infrastructure and corporate environments
• Design secure cloud-native architecture for AI pipelines and data protection
• Lead threat modeling, risk assessments and secure SDLC practices
• Oversee detection and incident response, including logging and monitoring
• Engage with enterprise customers on security and trust during scale
