Job summary

Hightouch, the San Francisco-based Agentic Marketing Platform, seeks its first dedicated security hire to define and scale our application security posture end-to-end. You’ll work hands-on in the codebase, shaping security as we grow from 70 to 140+ engineers, ensuring robust tenant isolation, API security, and threat modeling.

With strong distributed systems experience, you will influence product teams, own the security roadmap, and partner across engineering.

Qualifications

• Be an early security hire at a SaaS or data infrastructure company.
• Secure multi-tenant platforms: tenant isolation and authorization models.
• Cloud security across more than one cloud and customer-owned accounts.
• Experience securing data infrastructure from early design or major redesigns.
• Privacy-adjacent security: PII handling, data residency, GDPR/CCPA controls.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement security architecture and threat modeling.
• Improve multi-tenant isolation and differentiated access controls.
• Strengthen internet-facing APIs security, rate limiting, and abuse detection.
• Support multi-region and multi-cloud backend security and data residency compliance.
• Own the security roadmap and drive security fixes alongside product teams.
