Job summary

Pathstream is seeking a Product Researcher to uncover insights that inform product and curriculum decisions in collaboration with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams. You will build and maintain an expert advisor network, run diverse studies, and organize research outputs for the Pathstream team.

You’ll work with Product, Design, and Learning Experience Design to ground features in real user behavior, translate findings into actionable curriculum priorities, and support GTM

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in research, data, insights roles such as consulting, venture or impact investing, user research, or similar work involving a portfolio of varied responsibilities
• Experience operating in a startup or on a small team with ownership mindset
• Experience synthesizing research into actionable insights
• Experience with ideating and implementing research operations
• Bonus: knowledge or experience researching financial services or frontline workers
• Bonus: experience using AI tools relevant to product research and design

Responsibilities

• Build knowledge about our market, users, and more across cross-functional teams
• Maintain pipeline of expert advisors and manage research operations logistics
• Run studies from landscape scans to usability tests and translate findings into curriculum decisions
• Ground feature decisions in real user behavior and validate post-launch outcomes
• Support GTM teams to surface intelligence addressing client needs and pain points
