Job summary

RUX Software, a fast-growing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ISV, seeks a product leader to own the BC and cross‑platform mobile solutions. You will shape strategy, oversee discovery with dispatchers, technicians, and service managers, and align product decisions with customer outcomes.

You will mentor engineers, manage the backlog, and collaborate with Support, Sales, and Implementation to ensure timely releases and high-quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a B2B software product area and turning strategy into priorities.
• Strong discovery, competitive analysis, backlog management, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience with SaaS, ERP, Dynamics 365 BC, and industrial-asset workflows preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a fact-based product-domain perspective from feedback, support patterns, and market signals.
• Propose bets, positioning changes, and roadmap sequencing linked to outcomes.
• Own backlog prioritized by customer value, strategic fit, revenue impact, risk and effort.
• Translate priorities into sprint-ready work with clear problem statements, scope, stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and sequencing.
• Lead backlog refinement and provide timely product decisions before and during development.
• Plan and conduct discovery with relevant users and customers, document findings, and incorporate validated learning.
• Partner with Engineering to evaluate solution options, understand constraints, and make tradeoffs.
• Align Support, Sales, Implementation, Product, and Engineering on priorities, timing, and messaging.
• Lead or coordinate triage for priority product and customer issues, with updates to stakeholders.
• Support UAT, regression validation, and release-impact reviews to confirm product behavior.
• Monitor major platform releases for compatibility risks and opportunities.
• Approve completed work against acceptance criteria and outcomes before release.
• Review customer-facing docs, internal notes, and enablement materials for accuracy.
• Monitor adoption and service KPIs to adjust roadmap and decisions.
