Job summary

Carestream Dental LLC is seeking a Product Owner to own features across Sensei Cloud and SoftDent. You will set priorities for the scrum team, translate customer needs into backlog items, and partner with Engineering, QA, UX, Sales, and Strategic Partnerships to bring them to life.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of software product ownership experience.
• Hands-on Agile/Scrum with writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with SaaS and/or on-premises software.
• Analytical, problem-solving and data-driven decision making.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience in dental/healthcare software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Voice of the customer: engage with dental practices weekly and turn insights into product decisions.
• Own and prioritize the scrum team's backlog with a data-driven focus.
• Lead sprint planning and coordinate cross-team dependencies.
• Write clear acceptance criteria and coordinate UAT with stakeholders.
• Develop product expertise across SaaS and on-premises offerings.
• Support upgrades and deployments for on-premises customers alongside SaaS cadence.
• Track KPIs and drive timely resolution with partners.
• Contribute to roadmap and OKRs; explain ROI of features.
• Lead product discovery with hypotheses and AI-assisted prototyping.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Service, and Customer Success on releases.
• Spot risks early and propose solutions.
• Use AI tools for research and requirements drafting; verify accuracy.
• Research the market, users, and competitors in the dental industry.
