Job summary

ESB Technologies is seeking a Product Manager / Product Owner to own the backlog for a B2B SaaS platform that leverages LLMs. You will translate client needs into prioritized work for a small founding engineering team and work with our AI layer and internal delivery system.

You will run agile ceremonies, write clear specs, and communicate with client operators, consultants and builders. This is a remote contract role based in the United States with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of PM/PO experience in B2B SaaS.
• Shipped product or major feature leveraging LLMs.
• Excellent written specs; strong written communication.
• Experience running Agile ceremonies with small teams.
• Working knowledge of automation and no-code tools (Airtable, Make, Zapier, n8n).
• Ability to pull and read own metrics/data.
• Comfort with part-time scope and clear deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Own and rank the backlog for the client platform, internal delivery system, and AI layer.
• Write problem statements, user stories and acceptance criteria engineers can build from without a meeting.
• Lead sprint planning and review with the founding engineers and accept or reject work.
• Engage weekly with client operators, consultants, and builders to inform priorities.
• Shape discovery-to-SOP flow from interviews to priced projects.
• Define autonomy ladder transitions and user visibility at each step.
• Own product metrics like time-to-SOP, workflows in production, and hours saved.
• Collaborate with AI engineer on evaluation targets for interviewer accuracy and SOP quality.
• Maintain release notes and help docs for clients and builders.
