Job summary

Smarter Balanced, housed at the University of California, Santa Cruz Silicon Valley Extension, seeks a Product Manager to drive end-to-end strategy for Tools for Teachers and related applications. You will partner with consortium members to develop insights, translate needs into solutions, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact products within scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

• Experience in Product Management or as a Product Owner.
• Experience driving a product enhancement roadmap and managing a product development life cycle.
• Experience ensuring inclusive environment and collaboration.
• Experience implementing contracts with state education agencies and/or school districts.
• Advanced knowledge of the education market and product management concepts.
• Proven ability to lead large cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadmap planning and backlog refinement for Tools for Teachers and related applications with members and stakeholders.
• Operationalize requirements into a roadmap and prioritize enhancements with technology teams.
• Monitor life cycle from initiation to delivery, interfacing with SMEs and membership.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact products on scope, schedule and budget.
• Develop and track metrics and KPIs; provide analysis and reporting.
• Represent product investment discussions with executives and external partners.
