Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Product Manager to drive improvements in the Canvas LMS experience and PowerSchool platform for educators and students.

This role focuses on implementation, integrations, and user experience design to ensure Canvas works seamlessly with third-party tools and delivers engaging content at scale. You will own the product backlog, collaborate with engineering, design, and curriculum teams, evaluate 3rd party content providers, and develop metrics to measure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; technical or instructional technology background preferred.
• 4-8 years of experience in product management or LMS administration (Canvas and PowerSchool experience strongly preferred).
• Strong understanding of LMS integrations, standards (LTI, QTI, SCORM, xAPI), and digital content delivery.
• Experience working directly with educators, administrators, and instructional designers to improve workflows and learning experiences.
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to translate user needs into technical requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Passion for improving digital learning environments and creating intuitive, student-centered experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of Canvas features and workflows across K-12 environments.
• Collaborate on the implementation of PowerSchool features and workflows across K-12 environments.
• Partner with engineering, design, and curriculum teams to optimize the user experience for teachers, students, and administrators.
• Evaluate, integrate, and manage 3rd party tools and content providers for Canvas with standards compliance.
• Gather and synthesize user feedback to identify pain points and prioritize usability improvements.
• Own the product backlog, write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and work with engineering on delivery.
• Collaborate with support teams to monitor performance, track issues, and resolve integration challenges.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to measure adoption, user satisfaction, and learning impact; drive product decisions.
• Create training materials, release notes, and demo support rollout and drive adoption of new Canvas features and integrations.
