Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Product Management Lead to join our Business Technology team. This role drives digital transformation by defining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for innovative digital solutions while coordinating with stakeholders and development teams.

Under the Senior Manager of Digital Enablement, you will translate business needs into actionable outcomes, lead discovery activities, and ensure products deliver measurable value aligned with priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience managing software products from concept through launch, preferably supporting AEC, engineering, construction, infrastructure, or technology-enabled professional services organizations.
• Experience leading discovery activities, partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs, prioritize opportunities, and make strategic tradeoff decisions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of product management principles, Agile software development practices, and requirements management.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage product vision, value proposition, strategy, and roadmap for digital products and solutions.
• Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and feedback sessions to identify needs, opportunities, and product requirements.
• Gather, prioritize, and translate business and customer needs into user stories, use cases, and actionable requirements for development teams.
• Monitor product adoption and performance, making roadmap recommendations based on stakeholder feedback and business objectives.
• Support the evaluation and incubation of innovative ideas and emerging technologies that advance CDM Smith’s digital capabilities.
• Provide guidance and coordination to product management and quality assurance team members while helping remove cross-functional delivery obstacles.
