Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Procurement Specialist to oversee sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiations. You will design and execute RFP processes, drive cost savings, and partner with Operations, HR, and Finance to align procurement with business goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and 5+ years in procurement or sourcing. A Master’s or CPSM/CIPS is preferred. This is a full-time, remote opportunity in the USA with global impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, CPM) preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in operations-driven or multi-site organizations.
• Demonstrated success in leading competitive bidding/RFP processes and managing category spend.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Operations, P+O (HR), and Finance, to implement procurement strategies.
• Proficiency in procurement technology platforms, reporting tools, and contract management systems.
• Experience supporting new operation startups through vendor selection based on geographic and operational requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Strategic Sourcing & RFP Management
• Develop, manage, and execute RFP processes for category spend.
• Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends.
• Ensure RFPs have requirements, criteria, and timelines for vendor selection.
• Research and identify qualified vendors based on service capabilities and geography.
• Lead vendor evaluations, site visits, references, and scorecard reviews.
• Facilitate onboarding of new vendors and ensure compliance.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and SLAs to optimize cost and risk.
• Collaborate with Legal and Finance to meet regulatory needs.
• Maintain contract repository and renewal tracking.
• Partner with Operations, P+O, Finance to align procurement with goals.
• Provide vendor recommendations for new startups based on geography and needs.
• Oversee rollout of vendor programs and handoffs to ops teams.
• Establish metrics and reporting to monitor program success.
