Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and 8 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• Experience leading procurement for defense programs in a government contracting environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement efforts for multiple programs within the Naval Power procurement team.
• Administer subcontracts and manage high-dollar procurements to meet cost, schedule and quality targets.
• Issue RFQs/RFPs, negotiate terms, and conduct supplier performance reviews.
• Ensure proper communication of prime contracts, terms, and SOWs to suppliers.
• Collaborate with Finance, PM, Engineering and Materials in cross-functional teams.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.
