Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Procurement Engineer – Evaporators to lead technical and commercial aspects of evaporator coil systems for data center cooling. You will bridge engineering and procurement to meet performance, reliability, and cost goals, while guiding supplier qualification and cost optimization.

The role covers supplier evaluation, design alignment, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure supply continuity and scalable manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in procurement engineering or mechanical/thermal design in manufacturing.
• Experience with heat exchangers, evaporators, and data center cooling components.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for evaporator and heat exchanger assemblies.
• Lead RFIs/RFQs for new programs and capacity expansion.
• Analyze quotations and build total cost of ownership models.
