Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Procurement Administrator (Developmental) to support our procurement and subcontracts team. This fully remote role within the United States offers on-the-job training in government contracting, FAR applications, and vendor management.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and a drive to learn the government contracting lifecycle, including proposals, negotiations, and CPSR-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, mathematics, accounting, economics, or related field.
• 0–2 years of related experience in contracts/subcontracts, office administration, purchasing, or contract administration.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, self-starter with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support subcontract administration and procurement processes under supervision.
• Assist in vendor setup and documentation in the procurement system.
• Learn FAR, DFARS, CPSR considerations, and review terms for source selection.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to gather required information.
• Prepare/assist with NDA, TA, and OCI documentation as needed.
• Contribute to award documentation and post-award contracting actions.
