Job summary

Sedron Technologies is seeking a Remote Process Operations Technician to coordinate automated plant operations from remote sites across North America. You will monitor DCS systems, adjust process parameters, and support startups and shutdowns with safety and compliance in mind.

The role requires 2+ years in process operations, reading PFDs/P&IDs, and familiarity with CMMS and Grafana/InfluxDB. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential for success in a rotating shift environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years experience in process operations in relevant industries.
• Ability to read PFDs and P&IDs; experience with DCS, CMMS, and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow process instructions and safety protocols.
• Operate and monitor remote processes via DCS.
• Support startup, steady-state operations, and shutdown recovery.
• Monitor key parameters and adjust for optimal performance.
• Respond to upsets and emergencies per procedures.
• Identify deviations and troubleshoot equipment/safety issues.
• Coordinate with onsite ops and maintenance teams.
• Maintain records and support reporting requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
