Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing operations from a home office. You will lead process design, modeling, and optimization efforts across multiple production lines, delivering measurable efficiency gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• At least 5 years of process engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Arena, AnyLogic, or similar process simulation software.
• Strong Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical analysis knowledge.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement new or modified production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Utilize process simulation software to model and test proposed changes before implementation.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, flowcharts, and control plans.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless process integration and implementation.
• Monitor process performance and troubleshoot issues remotely, recommending and implementing solutions.
