Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks a Remote Pro Fee Cardiothoracic & Vascular Coder for a 6-month assignment starting 11/16/26. You will review medical records and assign accurate billing codes for physician-performed heart, lung, and chest surgeries, with emphasis on E/M leveling.

Candidates must have 3+ years in Pro Fee Cardiology Coding in hospital and clinic settings, and hold CPC, RHIT, CPC-H, or CCS credentials. Proficiency with Cerner, MedHost MPF, HPF, Ingenius Med, Athena, and ezDI CAC is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of pro fee cardiology coding experience in hospital and clinic settings.
• Experience with accurate E/M leveling and coding reviews.
• Reviews medical records and assigns correct codes for heart, lung, and chest surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and assign accurate billing codes for physician-performed cardiothoracic and vascular procedures.
• Ensure correct E/M levels and documentation, in remote setting.

START DATE: 11/16/26

REQUIRED SKILLS: 3+ years Pro Fee Cardiology Coding Experience Hospital and Clinic settings. E/M Leveling exp. Reviews medical records and assigns accurate billing codes for physician-performed heart, lung, and chest surgeries

#OF WEEKS: 6 months

SHIFT/HOURS: Mon-Fri preferred, days

EXPECTED HOURS: 40 per week.

LICENSE/CRED. REQ: Any of the following CPC, RHIT, CPC-H, of CCS

SYSTEMS: Cerner, MedHost MPF, HPF, Ingenius Med, Athena, ezDI CAC

Must be experienced Pro Fee coder, Proficient in E/M leveling
