R1 RCM, Inc. is seeking a Privacy Analyst to join its privacy team remotely in the U.S. You will assess, monitor, investigate, educate on, and promote compliance with HIPAA and other privacy requirements across the organization.

This role focuses on data incidents, policy enforcement, and continuous improvement of the privacy program, collaborating with HR, Legal, and various service lines to safeguard PHI.

Qualifications

• At least two years of compliance experience, including privacy.
• Experience with HIPAA or healthcare privacy preferred.
• Ability to analyze complex compliance issues.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• High integrity and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, documenting, tracking, investigating, and taking action on data incidents and issues concerning privacy compliance.
• Ensuring consistent application of sanctions for privacy policy breaches.
• Developing privacy metrics and reporting to monitor incidents and compliance.
• Collaborating with internal teams to remediate privacy and compliance gaps.
• Promoting awareness and training on privacy regulations.
• Assisting in annual compliance and risk assessments.
• Maintaining focus on data protection and customer privacy.
