Job summary

Barclay Simpson is seeking a Privacy & AI Governance Consultant to support life sciences clients with data protection, privacy compliance and AI governance. This role offers fully remote working and opportunities to lead engagements, deliver regulatory analysis, and mentor junior team members across Europe and beyond.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data protection and privacy regulations.
• Solid understanding of UK GDPR and EU GDPR.
• Experience in regulated industries such as pharma/healthcare is a plus.
• Ability to manage client relationships and provide practical compliance advice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver privacy and data protection advisory services to a varied client portfolio.
• Conduct DPIAs and privacy risk assessments.
• Advise clients on GDPR and emerging AI governance requirements.
• Lead client meetings, trainings and regulatory discussions.
• Review and develop policies, contracts and compliance documentation.
• Contribute to quality assurance and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
