CentraCare Health seeks a Prior Authorization Assistant at the South Point Location in Saint Cloud, MN. This full-time role covers 72 hours every two weeks, with majority remote work and orientation on-site.

You will process health plan requirements, including referrals, pre-certifications and prior authorizations, collaborating with internal physicians and staff to ensure timely, accurate patient care and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree HIT or related program required.
• 1 year of relevant healthcare experience in lieu of education.
• Minimum 1 year experience in prior authorization preferred.
• Knowledge of health care and medical practices preferred.

Responsabilités

• Process health plan utilization review requirements, including referrals, pre-certifications, and prior authorizations.
• Collaborate with internal physicians and staff and external health care providers to facilitate patient care.
• Support patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.
