Lyric seeks a Principal Software Engineer to shape the technical direction of our healthcare decision intelligence platform. You will lead design and development of scalable, high-performance systems and mentor engineers to uphold best practices across full-stack initiatives.

You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define requirements, drive architecture decisions, and champion coding standards while staying current with industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

10+ years experience in software engineering with leading design and development of complex systems.
10+ years experience with JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#, and .NET ecosystem familiarity.

Responsibilities

Leads end-to-end design and development of software solutions including back-end and integration components.
Collaborates with product managers, designers, and engineers to define technical requirements and deliverables.
Provides technical leadership to a team of engineers and fosters innovation and collaboration.
Drives architectural decisions and ensures coding standards and quality principles.
Develops and maintains frameworks, libraries, and reusable components to streamline development.
Addresses technical challenges, performance optimizations, and scalability concerns.
Mentors engineers on design and system architecture for professional growth.
Stays updated with emerging technologies and new tools.
Conducts code reviews to ensure quality and stability.
Represents the company as a technical evangelist at events and communities.
