Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Software Developer Principal to design, develop, and modernize client software in a highly Agile environment. You will lead a remote team, build scalable backend services with microservices, and develop Databricks data pipelines integrated with diverse data sources.

Expect collaboration across engineers, testers, and product owners in a fast-paced setting. You will work with Java/J2EE, Angular, Spring Boot, AWS, and Terraform, ensuring performance, security, and scalable

Qualifications

• Databricks data processing and pipelines development.
• Backend with microservices to support web apps.
• Experience with Java/J2EE (Java 19+).
• Cloud/DevOps environment with AWS (ECS/ECR).
• REST APIs and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead a remote team maintaining modern cloud applications.
• Build and maintain Databricks jobs/notebooks and data pipelines.
• Develop Angular/Java/Spring Boot frontend/backend stack in a cloud DevOps setup.
• Design backend components and data integrations across multiple data stores.
• Implement unit tests and ensure code coverage in GitLab.
