Job summary

Quantum Sky is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to build cloud-based and on-premise cybersecurity and compliance applications for highly regulated environments. The role covers full lifecycle development, CI/CD, deployment, and production operations, with data-intensive risk and compliance analytics at the core.

Responsibilities include designing secure, scalable software; backend services and integrations; cloud/on-premise architectures; and AI-assisted development workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing, and supporting production software applications.
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with external systems.
• Experience with relational databases, data modeling, backend architecture, and modern front-end tech.
• Experience modeling and querying hierarchical or graph-like data.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps-based software delivery environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Docker, containers, or similar platforms.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools in professional settings.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software, deployment, and production issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack capabilities with secure, scalable, production-ready software.
• Develop backend services, APIs, integrations, and automation tools.
• Build new product capabilities across cloud and on-premise cybersecurity and compliance apps.
• Design integrations with cloud services, security tools, and third-party systems using REST APIs.
• Develop capabilities to ingest and present security and compliance data, automating workflows.
