Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Principal Python Developer for a 100% remote role in the United States. You will design, build, and scale enterprise-grade Python systems, focusing on reliability, security, and performance in distributed production environments.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of Python experience, strong SDLC and CI/CD knowledge, and a track record delivering large-scale applications with high uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of applied Python development experience in enterprise-grade environments.
• Strong experience building and maintaining large-scale production applications with uptime requirements.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Sybase).
• Solid understanding of SDLC, requirements, design, test, release, and support.
• Proven experience across system design, development, testing, and operations.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and performance trade-offs.
• Experience with Agile, CI/CD, resiliency patterns, and secure coding.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical and business teams.
