Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer for a fully remote role in the United States. You will design and deliver robust Python systems for enterprise-grade applications, data processing, and automation, collaborating with product, data, and infra teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of Python development in enterprise environments, strong SDLC and CI/CD experience, and a track record of building scalable, reliable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of Python development in enterprise environments.
• Experience building large-scale production apps with high uptime requirements.
• Experience with Oracle/MS SQL Server/PostgreSQL/Sybase; tuning and schema design.
• Strong SDLC understanding from requirements to support.
• Proven experience across system design, development, testing, and operations.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and efficiency; sound design trade-offs.
• Experience debugging and maintaining complex enterprise apps in production.
• Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, resiliency patterns, and secure coding.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end design and development for complex Python applications.
• Develop secure, production-ready Python code for distributed systems.
• Create architecture and design artifacts aligned with requirements and standards.
• Optimize data processing for large-scale datasets and both batch and real-time workloads.
• Collaborate with product, data, and infrastructure teams to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Lead code reviews and mentor less-experienced engineers.
• Participate in Agile, CI/CD, testing, rollback, and monitoring strategies.
• Support incident response and post-incident reviews.
