Job summary

HighLevel is hiring a Principal Product Manager to own the next generation of Conversation AI. You will define strategy, architecture, and operating metrics to deliver dependable AI agents across millions of customer interactions.

This senior role interfaces with Engineering, AI leadership, and Design, guiding multi‑team trade-offs and ensuring a scalable, secure platform for agencies and SMBs globally.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of product management experience owning complex B2B SaaS, AI‑agent, or CRM platforms.
• Experience as Principal PM or senior IC responsible for a business-critical product.
• Ability to define strategy across multiple teams and deliver outcomes.
• Strong understanding of AI-agent product design.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS for agencies or franchises.
• Strong customer instincts and willingness to inspect logs and data.
• Commercial judgment on pricing, retention and gross margin.
• Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent written communication and documentation.
• High ownership and execution in a remote-first environment.
• Comfort with prioritization across customer experience, AI quality, revenue, platform extensibility.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term product vision, strategy, roadmap, and architecture for HighLevel Conversation AI.
• Own the complete Conversation AI system, including prompts, knowledge, actions, flows, channel deployment, routing, testing, and lifecycle management.
• Establish product principles for when to answer, ask questions, take actions, or hand to humans.
• Develop understanding of agencies, SMBs, multi-location businesses, and conversation-heavy industries.
• Review customer conversations, AI failures, support tickets, and implementation challenges.
• Translate problems into strategic choices, requirements, and roadmaps with measurable success criteria.
• Partner with Engineering on LLM orchestration, context management, tool invocation, retrieval, and cost.
• Build a scalable evaluation framework covering grounded accuracy and business outcomes.
• Define testing and release standards for model changes and agent tools.
• Collaborate with Design to simplify the agent lifecycle and reuse.
