Job summary

Great Minds is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead discovery and execution for content authoring tools, delivery experiences, and CMS. You will partner with design, engineering, curriculum, and assessment teams to ensure the platforms are coherent, scalable, and supportive of high‑quality K–12 instruction.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience with ownership of complex platforms or systems.
• Experience serving multiple user types (authors, teachers, students, admins, internal teams).
• Deep understanding of content authoring tools, CMS platforms, and structured content systems.
• Strong systems thinking with data models and workflows.
• Able to influence without authority and lead via collaboration.
• Hands-on with detailed requirements while maintaining strategic perspective.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the product vision for content authoring platforms.
• Translate instructional needs into scalable software capabilities.
• Form strategy for delivery experiences to teachers, students, and admins.
• Initiate CMS direction including models, workflows, permissions, and publishing.
• Set clear strategy and success metrics for authoring, delivery, and CMS.
• Collaborate with design and engineering to balance speed, quality and health.
• Be the subject matter expert on content platforms for Great Minds' products.
• Reduce friction across the content lifecycle from creation to classroom use.
