Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a deeply technical Principal Product Manager for Developer Foundations to own internal AI enablement, DevOps, and tooling. You will build automated toolchains and platform services enabling Unified Ownership Squads to deliver software safely, quickly, and predictably.

You will guide the shift from siloed QA/SRE roles to scalable platform teams, enabling self-serve automation, AI integration, and strong governance across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience leading Platform Tooling or Internal Tooling teams.
• Experience evaluating and governing AI-assisted development tools in secure SDLC.
• Strong knowledge of modern distributed architectures, containers, CI/CD, and event-driven systems.

Responsibilities

• Define the Developer Foundations roadmap for internal platform, CI/CD, and quality gates.
• Operationalize AI-Led PDLC by integrating AI into developer workflows with governance.
• Transform QA/SRE capabilities into scalable platform services for end-to-end ownership.
• Enable modular architecture and speed deployment of secure products without large releases.
• Prioritize tooling initiatives with data-driven quarterly commitments to reduce technical debt.
• Instrument platform metrics to improve deployment frequency, lead time, MTTR, and AI-assisted commits.
