Qualifications

• 12+ years of full lifecycle development experience.
• 3+ years hands‑on Apache Kafka in production environments.
• 7+ years of software development in Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools and practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status; willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, and implement next‑generation applications using modern software engineering practices.
• Lead AI‑driven development and data streaming with Kafka, including real‑time processing.
• Provide architectural oversight for TFDM modernization, security, CI/CD, and containerization.
• Mentor teams in SOA, event‑driven architectures, and cloud‑native deployments.
• Investigate and repair defects across Kafka, CI/CD, frontend, and backend components.
