SEARCH seeks a Principal Investigator to lead archaeological projects in the Southwest region of the United States, focusing on field, lab, and report development. The role requires strong writing and supervision across multiple simultaneous projects and travel as needed.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Section 106, NEPA, and state/federal laws governing cultural resources, with a proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality reports.

Competenze

• Graduate degree in Anthropology or related field.
• Based in/relocating to New Mexico.
• Minimum five years of supervisory experience across field, laboratory, and office.
• Must meet the Secretary of the Interior's professional qualifications standards for archaeology and be an RPA or be eligible to become an RPA.
• Expertise in state and federal laws and guidelines governing cultural resources management.
• Strong Arizona and/or New Mexico archaeological experience.
• Holding permits or eligible for NM BLM and State Lands permits.
• Demonstrated ability to support projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.

• Oversee fieldwork, data analysis, and report preparation to meet project requirements.
