SEARCH seeks a Principal Investigator to lead terrestrial archaeology projects in the Southwest. This remote position supports Arizona and New Mexico projects, manages staff, and ensures high-quality reports for federal, state, and tribal agencies under NHPA and NEPA.

The candidate brings a graduate degree in Anthropology, at least five years of supervisory experience, and exceptional technical writing and communication skills to deliver timely field, lab, and report work while traveling as

Formación

• Graduate degree in Anthropology or related field required.
• Minimum five (5) years of supervisory experience in field, lab, and office.
• Superior technical writing skills and ability to produce reports for experts.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate field, research, and lab tasks across projects.
• Oversee fieldwork, data analysis, and report preparation to meet budgets and schedules.
• Develop project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules; mentor archaeologists and report authors.
• Write high quality technical reports and ensure research integrity and original authorship.
