Job summary

ADNET Systems, Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Systems Engineer / Full-Stack Architect to lead the GOF modernization prototype. You will architect, code core components, and guide up to two developers while coordinating with NASA scientists and stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable delivery.

You will build front-end interfaces, backend services, data models, and cloud infrastructure with a focus on CUI/PII protection and practical, fast-to-deliver solutions for a government project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including senior or principal level responsibilities.
• Hands-on leadership of small software development teams.

Responsibilities

• Define the overall architecture spanning front-end, back-end, DB, cloud, UX, and AI.
• Personally build the core prototype and set engineering standards.
• Deploy the system in a cloud environment suitable for US government workloads.
• Design and operate to protect CUI and PII throughout the system.
• Incorporate AI/LLM capabilities and manage token costs.
• Create intuitive, role-specific user experiences for a non-technical user base.
• Lead up to two developers and maintain institutional knowledge.
• Iterate from prototype toward a production system with stakeholders.
