Job summary

MedImpact is seeking a Principal, Formulary Consultant to drive formulary strategy, rebate optimization, and contract alignment for major clients. This internal/external client-facing role requires expert knowledge of PBM services, rebate modeling, and strategic formulary management to optimize drug spend.

The position is based at our San Diego headquarters with potential remote work based on business needs.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree; 8+ years related experience and SME in respective area(s).
• Advanced Excel skills are required.
• PBM experience strongly preferred and needed for success.

Responsibilities

• Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance rebate yields.
• Lead formulary strategy and contract alignment with manufacturers.
• Provide stakeholder education and recommendations on rebate and formulary design.
• Model rebate performance and present findings to clients and account teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize drug spend for clients.
