Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to help define and realize our enterprise technology vision. This remote role collaborates with the CTO office and business domains to deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions that support critical business capabilities.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in enterprise architecture, strong API and cloud experience, and deep knowledge of security, data, and integration patterns.

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience designing scalable, multi-tier cloud-native architectures.
• Experience designing APIs and integrations with external systems; familiar with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases; strong security design practices.
• Front-end familiarity with ReactJS; mobile app development is a plus.
• Effective written and verbal communication across teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate enterprise design decisions and build cross-team solutions with engineering, product, and program leadership.
• Lead and set direction for enterprise architecture in Application Integration, Data, and Platform domains.
• Tackle the most complex projects and contribute to the strategic technology vision of the organization.
• Advise on cloud migration strategies and align with business capabilities and roadmaps.
• Partner with business leaders to provide expert technical guidance and influence strategic decisions.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and position subject areas accordingly.
• Create and maintain roadmaps linking business strategies to capabilities and milestones.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or related field

15+ years experience in building scalable cloud-native architectures

APIs & integrations design with external systems

Cloud providers AWS Azure GCP

SQL & NoSQL data design

ReactJS / UI familiarity
