Job summary

Databricks seeks a senior security leader to define a long-term Authentication vision, balancing uncompromised security with a frictionless user experience. You will recruit and mentor engineering talent to scale security infrastructure across the organization.

You will act as the voice of Security Engineering at the executive level, driving data-driven decisions and shaping strategy. This role opens to remote candidates with a focus on global impact and industry leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data Security or related areas with expertise in multiple security domains.
• 15+ years building large-scale distributed systems with high availability.
• Leadership to guide across teams and functions.
• Strong communication to evangelize security to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Craft and execute a long-term north-star vision for Authentication balancing security with user experience.
• Recruit and mentor top-tier engineers to scale security infrastructure.
• Serve as the voice of Security Engineering at the executive level with data-driven decisions.
• Represent Databricks' security innovations at conferences and events.
