Job summary

Talisman is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer for fully remote work to lead complex power systems projects across utility, renewable, and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in power systems engineering, with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a strong preference for a PE license. Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in power systems engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
• Experience with utilities, developers, or EPC firms.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design and analysis for power systems.
• Perform system studies such as load flow and short circuit analysis.
• Provide technical oversight on interconnection studies.

Skills

Power system modeling tools (e.g., ETAP, SKM, PSCAD, PowerWorld)

Transmission systems knowledge

NERC compliance

Education
