Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Principal DevOps Architect to provide technical leadership across enterprise DevOps, cloud architecture, containerization, software delivery, and automation. This role will establish architecture and engineering best practices and partner with development, cloud, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions for enterprise and government programs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years enterprise IT experience in architecture, cloud, and delivery (preferred).
• Strong coding skills (.NET 4 / .NET 8+), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Vue.js.
• Experience with SQL Server and data modeling.
• Knowledge of OIDC, SAML 2.0, JWT authentication.
• Experience designing secure software solutions.
• Familiarity with AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement DevOps and containerization best practices.
• Lead training and promote team excellence in DevOps.
• Develop configuration management supporting SDLC.
• Manage source code: VCS, branching, merges.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and ops teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Oversee large, complex projects and ensure service delivery.
• Support enterprise and government programs.
