Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred.
• 7+ years in ML research or engineering with 5+ years building large-scale, real-time ML systems in production.
• Strong expertise across ML lifecycle, experimentation, and modeling.
• Proficiency in Python, Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn and SQL; NoSQL/graph databases a plus.
• Experience leading solution design and communicating with executives.

Responsibilities

• Define technical vision for data-driven payment optimization initiatives.
• Develop scalable real-time ML models and enable rapid experimentation.
• Oversee deployment, operation, validation, and maintenance of ML models.
• Establish best practices for ML modeling and evaluate modern tools and infra.
• Mentor senior data scientists and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with product, engineering, data, and compliance to integrate ML into products.
