Eliassen Group seeks a Principal Data Scientist to scale data science and AI for end-to-end payment optimization. You will design and deploy real-time models, lead cross-functional initiatives, and mentor senior data scientists in a remote setting.

The role balances strategic leadership with hands-on contributions across architecture, design reviews, and production-grade ML solutions, partnering with ML engineers and product teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or master's in a related field; PhD preferred.
• 7+ years in ML research/engineering with 5+ years building real-time ML systems
• Expertise across ML lifecycle, modeling, and experimentation
• Strong Python (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and SQL experience; NoSQL or graph DBs a plus
• Proven ability to lead design and execution with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication with executives and technical teams

Responsabilidades

• Define technical vision for data-driven payment optimization initiatives.
• Develop scalable real-time ML models and rapid experimentation.
• Oversee end-to-end ML model lifecycle: development, deployment, validation, maintenance.
• Establish best practices for ML modeling and tooling.
• Mentor senior data scientists and foster collaboration across teams.
• Partner with product, engineering, data, and compliance to integrate ML into products.
• Collaborate with leaders to optimize end-to-end ML delivery for business value.
