Job summary

Immatics is seeking a Principal Manager, Clinical Operations Lead to oversee US regional trials and manage end-to-end clinical operations. This role reports to the Associate Director, Clinical Asset Management and is fully remote in the United States.

The position requires 7+ years of leadership in global clinical operations and a Bachelor's degree in life sciences or nursing, with a Master’s preferred. Oncology, cell/gene therapy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, or similar.
• 7+ years leading global clinical operations with trial oversight and vendor management.
• Master’s degree preferred in life sciences, nursing, or related field.
• Experience in late-stage oncology trials or launch activities.
• Experience cell and/or gene therapy or other complex biologics programs.
• Strong ability to drive process improvements and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical trial execution and operational delivery across internal and external stakeholders from study start-up through execution.
• Provide oversight of CROs, vendors, and clinical trial partners to ensure quality, timelines, and budget objectives are met.
• Serve as Clinical Operations leader for CTMs, CRAs, and CTAs for each assigned project.
• Drive risk identification, issue escalation, and mitigation planning across studies.
• Support study start up, site feasibility, enrollment, and operational execution activities.
• Partner with Clinical Development, Regulatory, Safety, Biostatistics, Supply Chain and external vendors.
• Contribute to SOP development, process optimization, and inspection readiness initiatives.
• Mentor and coach junior Clinical Operations team members.
