Job summary

Hawai‘i Virtual Care is seeking a Primary Therapist to provide telehealth psychotherapy to clients in Hawai‘i. You will conduct individual, group, and family therapy, complete assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans in a fully remote setting.

The role offers a 1099 independent contractor structure with potential transition to full-time salaried W-2 as the program expands. Must reside in Hawai‘i and meet licensure requirements. Competitive hourly compensation is provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
• Current Hawai‘i behavioral health license or associate-level credential, as applicable.
• Independently licensed clinicians encouraged to apply.
• Must reside in Hawai‘i or otherwise meet Hawai‘i telehealth requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy via telehealth.
• Develop treatment plans and update them as needed.
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Monitor client progress and adjust level of care as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and clinical supervision.
