Job summary

Within Health is seeking a Licensed Master’s level clinician to serve as Principal Therapist in Hawaii. This PRN role focuses on individual and family therapy for eating disorders, with group therapy as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work or related field.
• Fully licensed to practice in Hawaii.
• Experience treating clients with eating disorders.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and through telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Establish positive rapport with clients.
• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders.
• Create and update individualized treatment plans.
• Meet with patients regularly to provide services and adjust plans.
• Coordinate services for each client.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of progress.
• Lead group therapy sessions as scheduled.
• Involve and advise family members when appropriate.
• Refer patients to outside specialists when needed.
• Maintain thorough records and ensure confidentiality.
• Communicate with outpatient providers for continuity of care.
• Attend weekly staff and treatment team meetings.
• Develop weekly individualized therapeutic opportunities.
• Conduct concurrent insurance reviews for clients.
