Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) seeks a Remote Nurse Advice RN to handle telephonic and electronic patient portal triage for symptom-based concerns. Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, you assess symptoms, follow EMR protocols, and schedule care with providers as needed.

This role is primarily remote, with an on-site training period. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, holds MA RN licensure, and has at least two years of primary care triage experience;

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current MA RN licensure required (or conditional).
• Minimum 2 years in primary care telephone triage; pediatric experience preferred.
• Ability to speak a second language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage symptom-based concerns via telephone and patient portal messages.
• Assess patient needs and clinical symptoms; follow evidence-based EMR protocols.
• Provide appropriate clinical advice and education to patients.
• Schedule appointments with primary providers, specialists, or community resources.
