Job summary

QuickMD seeks dedicated physicians licensed in at least five U.S. states to join a fully virtual team delivering high-quality telemedicine care. Work from anywhere with a weekly framework, and set your own schedule within 15–20 hours per week.

Compensation is per completed consult, with $35 per visit and potential earnings up to $210/hour for shorter visit times; top performers exceed $260K annually. Independent contractor status (1099) applies, with comprehensive onboarding and support.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (preference for three or more of: AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly, across at least four days per week.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs; training provided.
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
