Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking qualified clinicians for virtual care visits, delivering patient-centered care via telehealth. The role supports advanced practice providers and physician assistants, with emphasis on coding, documentation and teamwork.

The position requires 3+ years of experience, a relevant degree, and active licensure; with shifts including 1:00 PM–11:00 PM, 10-hour blocks and weekend/on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• APRNs must hold an active RN license and applicable APRN license in practice states.
• PA applicants must have an active PA license and national certification.
• All APRN/PA applicants must have Active DEA registration where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage via virtual health modalities with appropriate plans.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies and prescribe therapies.
• Collaborate with health care teams and refer as needed.
• Document thoroughly in the EMR and ensure compliant coding/billing.
• Engage in education, quality and safety initiatives and onboarding.
