Job summary

Work At Home Vintage Experts LLC (WAHVE) is seeking experienced pricing actuaries to work from home. You will support carrier clients in pricing P&C products, develop pricing models, analyze data, and collaborate with underwriting, finance, reserving and claims to drive profitable growth.

A bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or related field is required; FCAS/ACAS is preferred, with 25 years of full-time pricing experience and 10 of the most recent years in insurance pricing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, statistics, or related major.
• Pricing experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance or reinsurance.
• Proficiency in predictive modeling and machine learning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine pricing models to assess risk and profitability for P&C products.
• Monitor and analyze datasets, including experience and exposure rating, adjusting pricing models as needed.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Finance, Reserving and Claims to support pricing & growth strategies.
• Assist in development and filing of rate changes with regulatory bodies.
• Extract and manipulate data in relational databases using SAS, SQL, VBA, R, Prophet, Python or similar.
