Job summary

Quail Forever, in partnership with APBA and other partners, seeks a Statewide PBA Outreach Coordinator to advance the prescribed burn program in Arkansas. You will train PBAs, report burn acreage, and manage equipment distribution, while engaging landowners and partners to expand participation.

The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of fire ecology, and excellent communication skills, with a willingness to travel and work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in forestry, wildlife management, or fire ecology with related experience.
• Knowledge of prescribed fire policy and training requirements.
• Strong communication and outreach capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed fire training to PBAs.
• Coordinate burn acreage reporting to APBA.
• Track and distribute burn equipment to PBAs.
• Serve as liaison to PBA officers and members.
• Deliver public presentations and workshops.
• Organize PBA start-up meetings and trainings.
• Support APBA and QF policy compliance.
