Job summary

Premium Audit Analyst role is remote within the United States, based from Austin, TX. You will lead and direct the audit process, partnering with the insured and underwriting department to analyze payroll and verify payroll accuracy.

Responsibilities include reviewing payroll records and reconciliations, determining appropriate job classification codes, applying Manual Rules, and communicating audit decisions to agents and insureds while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years of insurance industry experience.
• Ability to analyze and reconcile policyholders’ financials, payroll, and claims.
• Knowledge of the Labor Code and NCCI.
• Strong communication and documentation of decisions.
• Detail-oriented with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Review policyholder financial reconciliations, payroll records, and claims information.
• Reconcile payroll records to quarterly and federal tax returns (941’s, 1099’s).
• Determine appropriate job classification codes.
• Apply the Basic Manual Rules for workers’ compensation.
• Maintain agency/insured relationships and communicate audit results to agents and underwriters.
