BJC HealthCare is seeking a detail‑oriented professional to support the financial clearance process across its hospitals. You will verify patient data, insurance details, and authorization status while ensuring accurate entries in the medical record.

You will collaborate with provider offices and payers, handle inquiries about authorizations, and assist with ancillary, surgical, or NOA workflows while maintaining a high standard of patient service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience in healthcare authorization or financial clearance is a plus.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and pre-certification processes helps.

Responsibilities

• Validate patient and insurance information and ensure accurate authorization data.
• Communicate with provider offices and payers to obtain and verify authorizations.
• Support Ancillary/Surgery/NOA processes with documentation and data entry.
• Maintain professionalism and teamwork in a multi-hospital environment.
