Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Pre-Award Research Administrator to support faculty, principal investigators, and research teams through proposal development and grant submission. The role requires collaborating on funding opportunities, sponsor guidelines, budgets, and compliance review in a deadline-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in pre-award research administration, experience with federal sponsors, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of pre-award research administration experience in a university, academic medical center, or research institution.
• Experience preparing and submitting proposals to federal sponsors (e.g., NIH, NSF, DoD, DOE, HRSA).
• Strong knowledge of federal grant regulations, Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), and sponsor policies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Partner with faculty and PIs to develop and submit competitive grant proposals.
• Review funding opportunity announcements and interpret sponsor guidelines.
• Prepare detailed proposal budgets and budget justifications.
• Advise investigators on allowable costs, effort commitments, and compliance.
• Coordinate proposal submissions to federal, state, foundation, and private sponsors.
• Monitor and communicate sponsor requirement changes and funding policies.
